17 September @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Join us for our first ADHD Connect Online Body Doubling session. Taking place on Wednesday 17th September from 6:30pm – 8pm, this session will be an opportunity to complete any unfinished tasks and tick things off your to-do list in the company of fellow ADHDers.

What is body doubling?

For many people with ADHD, body doubling can be game-changer.

To put it simply, body doubling means working alongside someone else (virtually or in person) while each person focuses on their own task. Just having someone else there can make tasks seem a lot less overwhelming and can really help with focus.

You can body double to assist with any task you like – from writing your weekly meal plan to responding to those emails you’ve been avoiding.

Whether you have a mundane admin task you’ve been avoiding or a list of chores piling up, the company of other ADHDers can help boost productivity, provide accountability, and make those low-dopamine tasks that little bit easier.

What can I expect from these sessions?

This Body Doubling sessions will take place online.

On the day of the session, you’d receive an email containing the joining instructions, including the Google Meet link. The session is free, but please make sure you book a space online to ensure you receive the joining instructions. The online meeting will begin at 6pm, and you’ll have 5 minutes to log on and get settled.

You can use the session to get on with any task you like. We encourage people to turn their microphones off and put their cameras on – often making yourself as visible as possible can really help with accountability and focus.

There will be a short tea-break half-way through and an optional chat at the end of the session, where you can share what you’ve accomplished. There’s no pressure to stay or to chat – you can simply log off whenever you are ready.

When will this session be taking place?
